Well, "The Satches" are at it again. Baby #2 will be here soon, and this time, it's a GIRL!!! I know Landon is going to be an awesome big brother, and I am so so happy for these great friends of ours! I hope they are ready for tutus, hairbows, and PINK...because it's coming! Beautiful weather + sweet baby = perfect photo op. That's what I had this past Saturday when I met up with an old client who now has a baby (#wheredoesthetimego)! Miss Tessa just celebrated her 6 month milestone. And let me tell ya, after chasing around a toddler of my own everyday, I forgot how nice it is that at 6 months, they just stay wherever ya put them! Hope you enjoy looking at this cutie as much I did.

Simply Couples: Rachel & Tyler

My cousin is getting married!!! And I have to say, he made a pretty good choice when he picked Rachel. Although I'm still getting to know her, I can already tell she is a super cool chick and will fit in well with the family. These 2 are well on their way to having wedding planning taken care of, and I know they are looking forward to the big day, as am I. Congratulations you love birds, and here's to many years of blessings and happiness.

Adding another Aggie baby to the list = check (and I'm thinking this also deserves a "Whoop")! Although this was my first shoot back in quite some time, this little one and her laid back parents made it easy. I love meeting new families, and this one did not disappoint. It was quite apparent that mom and dad were completely smitten with their new baby girl, and you can see why! Meet sweet Megan...

Simply Babies: Landon

This little Daddy mini-me was just as perfect as he could be throughout his "paparazzi-filled" hour with me and my camera. Even in the scorching July heat, he did not even make a peep! Mom and Dad must be doing something right, huh?

Simply Family: The Kastlis

This was a sweet little family that I met for the first time on a beautiful day at Hermann Park. I so enjoyed watching Baby Oliver explore his surroundings with no hestitation to get his hands dirty as he crawled around happily sampling pine needles and anything else he could find to put in his mouth. He is all boy to the core! I can imagine that Mom and Dad probably have their hands full!

Simply Babies: Landon

Oh, sweet Landon. He's about as precious as they come. He was such a good boy as we poked and prodded and maneuvered his little body to get these shots. You would think it would have worn him out, but he stayed awake for most of it, not wanting to miss any of the action! Looking at these pictures, I can't believe it's been over 2 years since I had a newborn baby of my own. I know it's almost cliche to say it, but it goes by so fast. So, I hope that even during this time of 3am feedings and sleepless nights, that as a new parent you think will never end, our great friends will truly cherish this special time with their first baby. What a blessing.

These 2 are some of our very good friends that we went to college with, and we are so excited that they finally decided to join us in this journey we call parenthood! If anyone is as die hard about Texas A&M as me and my husband are, it would have to be this couple. So, after watching the Ags BTHO Mizzou Saturday night, we got up Sunday morning ready to take some pictures at none other than Kyle Field. While we had permission to use the field, we did not expect what was to come...our ever so willing "guide" from the athletic department let us go up to the press box as well as inside the Aggie football locker room. For those of you who know us, you can understand what a big deal this was for us. I think my husband might even have stopped breathing for a moment when we walked inside! Anyway, it was an awesome experience, and I'm so glad I was able to get some unique Aggie images for our awesome friends and their future Aggie, class of 2035. Whoop!

Today's photo session was a quick one...Shortly into our shoot, Miss Claire decided she would rather take a nap than have her picture made. But who can blame her??? She's 6 months old! Luckily, we were able to amuse her for just long enough to get some precious smiles out of her. And that made it all worth it.

Simply Couples: The Smiths

You may remember seeing the Smiths awhile back as we had gotten together for their engagement shoot. Well, I am soooo happy to say that they are now awaiting the arrival of their baby girl next month, and I couldn't wait to get my lens on my sweet pregnant friend and her hubby of over a year. These 2 (or should I say 3) are some of the coolest people you'll meet, and I love that they are so creative in everything they do, and they allow me to be creative as well. I'm beyond thrilled about how these pictures turned out, and I'm even more excited to meet Miss Charlotte so very soon. Congratulations Smith family!

Simply Family: The (Extended) Cowieson Clan

It's not everyday that I get to photograph a family with 4 generations represented. This was such a neat experience for me, and I know it was so special and important to these folks to capture these moments that they have together...especially since part of the family lives out of state! In fact, it reminds me how important it is to spend time with my own family and get that camera out because times like this should be remembered and celebrated for years to come.
